Joyful Downtown Indianapolis Wedding at The Alexander Hotel and Plat 99 | Molly + Sidney

Real Weddings

From the first meeting I had with Molly and Sidney, they made it very known that they did not want their wedding to feel like they were going through the motions. They wanted it to feel incredibly authentic and true to them.

One thing about them, they love Indy. They bleed love for Indianapolis. They love a night on the town at a Pacers or Fever game, finding new restaurants or an event to support. They wanted their wedding to be Downtown, where they love to be and celebrate with all of their people.

Sidney and Molly originally had secured another Indianapolis hotel, who shall remain unnamed. We had everything planned, custom matches with the venue outlined on them, RSVPs turned in and guest hotel rooms secured. Less than a month before their wedding, Molly and Sidney walked into their venue to have dinner and it looked ENTIRELY different. Let’s just say it did not fit the vibe at all!

So, we moved their venue, TEN DAYS BEFORE THEIR WEDDING! And we sing the praises of The Alexander hotel everyday! We re-planned their entire wedding in 10 days – new venue, new menu, communicating to vendors & guests, negotiating refunds from their original venue, and everything in between.

My favorite photos from their wedding are their reception photos. We hosted the dancing portion of their reception in Plat99, The Alexander’s coffee shop and cocktail bar. It is truly one of the most unique reception venues in Indianapolis! And they did an outfit change into traditional Nigerian wedding garments to surprise their guests! Truly a highlight from their special day!

When we had to change our entire wedding venue just 10 days before the date, Hannah helped us deal with the fallout of the previous venue, found us a new one, and planned basically an entire new wedding in less than two weeks. She also is just the best person in general. She is so funny and genuinely became our friend through the entire process, helping to keep us calm and answer any question we had. I often felt like I had dumb questions or needed validation on something we were feeling crazy about, and Hannah was always there to make us feel better. We truly don’t know what we would have done without her, especially with our extreme last minute wedding change. We are beyond grateful and lucky to have a friend in Hannah now!”
